Deductibles can be adjusted from $100, $200 or $500 depending on your needs. Coverage options can be customized to fit your budget. There are a variety of annual limit options that range from $2500 per year to unlimited. This plan applies to multiple dogs or cats if you own more than one, and you’ll be eligible for a 10% discount if you enroll multiple pets.

Reimbursements
You have the option of 70%, 80% or 90% reimbursement with a Safeco plan. Claims can be easily placed in the Safeco online system, and you can track the status of a claim online. On average, it takes 14 to 16 days to resolve a claim, but some claims may take longer. Safeco offers the option of direct deposit for reimbursements or you can have it mailed as a check.
Limitations
There are some conditions and situations that are not covered under Safeco Pet Insurance. Before purchasing coverage, make sure these limitations won’t effect how you plan to use the policy. Pre-existing conditions are not covered under Safeco plans. However, injuries or illnesses that pets recover from and require no additional treatment for 180 days are covered in the future.
